…hello,…friend,…& Merry Christmas,…from America’s heartland,…Kansas wheatfields,…and Jayhawks,…great to see you here on the web,…;…I’ve not read your books,…and that is reason enough to recieve the free copy,…though I will edure myself to purchase if I don’t get lucky,…;…the books and themes sound inviting and reminiscing,…thanks again,…and I look forward to seeing you soon–I’m headed to Koz. Fri. p.m.,…
Stephen,
Should I NOT win the newest book, I shall buy it – but only if I can get it signed. Richard and I enjoyed the last one.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Love,
Cherie
I enjoy reading books about true stories that happen in Kosciusko. They are much more interesting. Cane and Able sounds like it would be good to read.. Interesting to try and win. If not, I will buy next time in KO. I will read it and pass it around to the people that live here from Ko. Have a good holiday from The Great State Of Texas
Have told my son about the plane crash story though he was too young to know anything about it, he thinks it is the strangest thing he has ever heard of, just a real good story line. I think this would be an exciting book to add to a collection.
Would really love to read your book Stephen. The Stephen Cheek played in a band. I hear you are a wonderful writer! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I won THE HUNT in a recent contest and started reading it as soon as I picked it up. I am throughly enjoying it and now want to read CANE AND ABEL. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
Starting a collection of books I read to my only Granddaughter. This may be the only one that I know the author. Time for you to get another Harley from the book proceeds. Mel Gibson
Hi Stephen,
Long time passes. Glad I ran across you on fb. I am very interested. I am an avid reader.I would be proud to get your new book….The Hunt.It sounds interesting since hunting is something I grew up with in the same woods as you. What a wonderful place to be young!! thanks
Glen
I recently ordered both books from this famous Kosciuskoian– famous for his music, landscape architecture and now as an accomplished author. I would like to win Cane and Able to give as a gift to a friend to show you off to a broader audience.

Love “The Hunt” , Stephen, or what I have read of it. I was in it and sooo interested. My son was at my house for Christmas, started reading my book (he never reads) and LOVES it and still has it. I guess I need to win the book so I can finish it. Great Job, Friend!!!!!
I would love to win the book Cane and Able. I live in Mississippi and I grew up in GA just on the tail end of segregation. I would love to read your story on the struggles, hardships and friendships of two young boys. Good luck to all!
Thanks!
Teresa
Oh, by the way… I would really love to get it signed if I win it!
I already have the book, but I shall give this one to Judy Carnathan if I win. Stephen, Big Boy and Little Son?????
I would love to win any of your books Stephen but especially “Catfish Cowboy and Mr. Turtle”. Ashley just had my first little grandbaby(London Fairfield Legate) and I am looking forward to rocking and reading. What better book than one written by one of our favorite people in Kosciusko. I am so proud of you and to think we can now enjoy one of your talents for years to come. I definately want the book and your autograph.
I think I should win “The Hunt”, just because I think it should be me who wins it!
I would love to win your new book “The Hunt.” I’m so proud of your creativity Stephen. Keep the books coming please.
I would love to have the book The Hunt, I well remember when this happened. I am not a big reader but may become one. It is much more interesting to read when you know the author. Well really I want to read all of them.
Stephen, it was great talking to you recently and I will go by Ann’s shoppe and pick up The Hunt . Thanks again my old friend. Maybe we can do a “Lobutcha Creek Trip” when my knee surgery is healed. I would like to introduce you to Indian Artifact collecting if you have never done it seriously as a hobby before
I think “The Hunt” would be a very interesting book.
I often wonder if The Hunt is about a plane crash that really happen when we were kids. Can’t say to much because people might remember who I am talking about. The Hunt and Cane and Able both sound like they will good to read. Good luck Stephen, from The Great State Of Texas.
I would love to have “The Hunt”. I think that I should win because, after all, I am the other grandmother of your grandson. HaHaHa!!!
I would love to have any of your books, but I think I’d like The Hunt!
I have no idea what the Hunt is about, the name draws me to want to know more.
Stephen,
Hope all is going well. Am hoping to read Cane and Abel soon. I would love to win “Catfish Cowboy and Mr. Turtle” to read to my own boys as well as all of my students at the Choctaw Indian School. Am so glad to find your blog page. I had heard that you had published some writing….. good to find it on here to learn more about it.
Stephen, haven’t read a complete book in 25 years. In January my uncle and I went on a hunting trip. He had the book and I read it in two afternoons. I knew most of the characters. It was a great book. It kept me interested through the whole book. Great job, Stephen.
